We have expanded our Canterbury workshop so parking and workflow is much improved.  And take a look at the new BMW 3 Series, very tempting to upgrade!
Canterbury Expansion BM Tech Canterbury Expansion

BM Tech Canterbury has expanded into the workshop next door. 
Eight years ago, when we moved to our current location on Canterbury Road, the size of the new workshop was a huge contrast from the old Box Hill site; Canterbury was so big! However, it’s amazing how quickly we out grew it.  Our customer base is growing rapidly and we are beginning to experience the same issues that were evident in our old workshop.  We desperately needed more room to move and additional areas for work bays.  Fortunately, the property next door became available just in time so we made the decision to expand. 
We now have four more working bays and a wonderful new car park at the front which will make drop-offs and pick-ups even easier than before. Our capacity to service and repair cars and provide better, more efficient customer service has improved noticeably.

Car Sales Announcement

BM Tech Car Sales has closed its doors. After 4 years of trading we decided that selling cars was not as important as our Service Department.  The Service Department was growing faster than we expected and we needed the extra room.   We found the car sales industry to be very competitive & difficult to find good cars to sell, particularly ones that met our high standards.  With the service workshop rapidly growing, it was only logical to close the used car sales area and expand the repair and service side of the business.

The winner of the "Win a Samsung TV" competition was Pamela Green from Melbourne. Congratulations to Pamela for winning such a great prize.  A big thank you to all who entered the competition.  It was very successful with nearly 1000 people entering.  Looks like we may do another one this year!  We'll keep you posted.
The winner of the BM Tech "Refer a Friend" competition for 2011 was Mr Arthur Apostoleros from Footscray.  Arthur referred a couple of new customers and for that he won a dinner for 4 people at the superb Grossi Florentino Restaurant valued at $400.00
Refer-A-Friend Winner A very big thank you to everyone who referred new clients, it was one of the biggest years for referrals we've ever had.  Remember, this is an ongoing competition where a new winner is drawn every December, so good luck for this year.

New BMW 3 Series Has Arrived New BMW 3 Series Has Arrived

The all new BMW 3 Series or F30 as we call it has arrived.  There will be three versions available in Australia; the economical and surprisingly powerful diesel engined 320d, the new 328i will have an engine that is actually a four cylinder turbo which will combine the best performance with terrific economy, and then there’s the 335i with the incredible turbocharged six cylinder engine.  These cars have been designed with near-perfect 50:50 weight distribution for amazing balance, handling and agility.  I think these new F30s are going to sell very well.

Christopher Fauvrelle is our Senior Technician and Technical Manager. Chris began his career with us in 1999 as an Apprentice. He became a Mechanic in 2003 and was promoted to Senior Technician and eventually Technical Manager. 
From day one, Chris showed great enthusiasm for the job and his determination to be the best in his field has made him one of the most respected BMW Technicians in the industry. 
Chris often goes to Europe and the USA for BMW and Mini technical training and is also a regular contributor to the BIMRS workshop group, which is an independent group of approximately 400 BMW workshops worldwide.
Chris’ knowledge and experience has also enabled him to become a Technical Trainer, regularly holding training nights to teach our Technicians how to diagnose and solve problems. We are very privileged to have Chris as one of our key members of staff.

Upgraded WebsiteBM Tech website

Our Web Site has been updated with new pages and includes a scrolling bulletin board on the home page. New pages include: Customer Information, the latest Newsletter, Pre-Purchase Inspections and a link to our Facebook page. The On-Line Booking Page has also been improved to make it easier and more functional. We hope you like the changes. We'd love to know what you think.


Calling All Email Adresses As part of our plan to eliminate as much paper based correspondence as we can, we would like to begin sending Service Reminders and Newsletters to you by email and SMS.  A survey of many of our customers has indicated that email and text messaging are definitely the way to go.  The only thing we need is your email, so if you haven’t given us your email address or believe that we may have an old version, could you please send it to us.  You can visit or just send us an email with your name, car registration and of course, the best email address to contact you on in the future.
